Sunan Ibn Majah
The Book of Purification and its Sunnah · When a person who is sexually impure wants to have intercourse again, he should perform ablution
Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَهْلَهُ ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ " .
English translation
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'If anyone of you has intercourse with his wife, then he wants to do it again, let him perform ablution.'"
