Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “The Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ arrived [in Madinah] when I was ten years old, and he died when I was twenty. My mothers used to urge me to serve him. He came in to visit us, and we milked a domesticated sheep for him; the milk was then mixed with water from the well in the house. A Bedouin was to his right, Abū Bakr to his left, and ʿUmar to one side. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ﷺ drank. ʿUmar said, ‘Give it to Abū Bakr.’ But he passed the vessel to the Bedouin and said: ‘The one on the right first, then the one on the right.’”
