Hadith 959 — Al-Adab Al-Mufrad | Quran & Hadees
Arabic حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا كَانَ جُنُبًا، يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاَثَ حَفَنَاتٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ: أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ، إِنَّ شَعْرِي أَكْثَرُ مِنْ ذَاكَ، قَالَ: وَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى فَخِذِ الْحَسَنِ فَقَالَ: يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، كَانَ شَعْرُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَكْثَرَ مِنْ شَعْرِكَ وَأَطْيَبَ.
English translation Jabir said, "When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him
peace, was in janaba, he would pour three cupfuls of water over his head."
