Sahih Muslim · Book 16 · Hadith 1429 c

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى وَلِيمَةِ عُرْسٍ فَلْيُجِبْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased withthem) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said this: When any one of you is invited to a wedding feast, he should accept that.

Sahih Muslim · Book 16 · Hadith 1429 d

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ائْتُوا الدَّعْوَةَ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger (may be upon him) having said this: Accept the feast, when you are invited.

وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ إِذَا دَعَا أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُجِبْ عُرْسًا كَانَ أَوْ نَحْوَهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: When any one of you invites his brother, he (the latter) should accept his wedding feast, or any other like it.

حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ، أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ائْتُوا الدَّعْوَةَ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

" Abdullah b. Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messen- ger (ﷺ) as saying: Come to the feast, when you are invited.
