Hadith 1008 — Jami` at-Tirmidhi | Quran & Hadees
Arabic حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، وَبَكْرٍ الْكُوفِيِّ، وَزِيَادٍ، وَسُفْيَانَ، كُلُّهُمْ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ .
English translation Salim bin Abdullah narrated that his father said:
"I saw the Prophet, Abu Bakr, and Umar walking in front of the funeral."

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ .
Salim narrated that:
His father said: "I saw the Prophet, Abu Bakr, and Umar walking in front of the funeral."

Az-Zuhri said:
"The Prophet, Abu Bakr, and Umar would walk in front of the funeral." Az-Zuhri said: "Salim informed me that his father would walk in front of the funeral."

Anas bin Malik narrated:
