Hadith 3913 — Jami` at-Tirmidhi | Quran & Hadees
Arabic حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو السَّائِبِ، سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " خَيْرُ الأَنْصَارِ بَنُو عَبْدِ الأَشْهَلِ " . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
English translation Narrated Jabir [bin 'Abdullah]:
that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best of the Ansar are Banu 'Abdul-Ashhal."
