حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ‏:‏ كَانَ أَحَبَّ الشَّرَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، الْحُلْوُ الْبَارِدُ‏.‏

'A’isha said (may Allah be well pleased with her): "The beverage dearest to Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) was cold water sweetened with honey.”
