The obligation of Zakat
And the Statement of Allah تعالى: “And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat.” (V.2:43) Ibn ‘Abbas رضي الله عنهما said: Abu Sufyan رضي الله عنه narrated to me the Hadith about the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ [the conversation which happened between him (Abu Sufyan) and Heraclius] and quoted from it: “He (the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ) ordered us to offer As-Salat (the prayers), to pay the Zakat, to keep good relations with kith and kin, and to be chaste.”
