حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَبُّويَةَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ فَوَعَظَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ .
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Al Dahhak to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. This version has Allaah prohibited that (practice).

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلاَّمُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ سَلِيمٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ طَاهِرًا مُطَهَّرًا فَلْيَتَزَوَّجِ الْحَرَائِرَ " .
It was narrated that: Anas bin Malik said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Whoever wants to meet Allah pure and purified, let him marry free women.' ”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ جُوَيْبِرٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، عَنِ النَّزَّالِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " لاَ طَلاَقَ قَبْلَ النِّكَاحِ " .
It was narrated from ' Ali bin Abu Talib that the Prophet (ﷺ) said : "There is no divorce before marriage."

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Goodness comes more quickly to a house where food is eaten than a knife to a camel’s hump.”
