Narrated Al-Harith ibn Qays al-Asadi:
I embraced Islam while I had eight wives. So I mentioned it to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (said) said: Select four of them.
Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been narrated…
It was narrated that Qais bin Harith said:
“I became Muslim and I had eight wives. I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and told him about that. He said: 'Choose four of them.' ”
