حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏"‏ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدَشِيرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا غَمَسَ يَدَهُ فِي لَحْمِ خِنْزِيرٍ وَدَمِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Buraidah from his father that the Prophet(ﷺ) said: "Whoever plays backgammon, it is as if he dipped his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig."

Sulaiman bin Buraidah narrated from his father that: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform ablution for every prayer, but on the day of the conquest of Makkah, he performed all of the prayers with one ablution.

‘Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The covenant that distinguishes between us and them is prayer; so whoever leaves it, he has committed Kufr.’”

It was narrated from Abu Buraidah from his father that: An-Najashi gave the Prophet (ﷺ) a gift of a pair of plain black leather socks. He put them on, then he (performed ablution and) wiped over them.
